Terms and Conditions for Revisionist

1. Introduction 1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Revisionist service ("Service") provided by Jake Roseman ("Owner," "I," "me," or "my"). 1.2 By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using the Service.

2. Service Description 2.1 Revisionist is an AI-powered manuscript review service that provides comprehensive feedback on fiction manuscripts. 2.2 Users can submit their manuscripts in various formats, including PDF, DOCX, TXT, and EPUB files, or by pasting the text directly into the provided interface.

3. Fees and Payment 3.1 The Service requires a flat fee of $5 USD for each manuscript submitted. 3.2 Payment must be made through Gumroad before the manuscript can be processed.

4. Manuscript Submission and Processing 4.1 Users are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are properly formatted and free of any password protection. 4.2 The Owner will process manuscripts one at a time. Users wishing to receive reports for multiple manuscripts must purchase a license for each manuscript separately.

5. Report Delivery 5.1 The Owner will provide the user with a comprehensive report on their submitted manuscript within a few minutes of submission. 5.2 The report will be delivered via email to the address provided by the user. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that the correct email address is provided.

6. Refund Policy 6.1 Refunds will only be granted if the Service is unable to provide a manuscript report due to technical issues on the Owner's end. 6.2 No refunds will be provided based on the user's dissatisfaction with the content or quality of the report. 6.3 If a user believes they are entitled to a refund, they should contact the Owner at info.revisionist@gmail.com. The Owner will work with the user to resolve any issues.

7. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality 7.1 The Owner respects the intellectual property rights of its users and does not claim any ownership over the submitted manuscripts. 7.2 The Owner will not store the manuscript itself, only the generated report. 7.3 The Owner will maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and will not share them with any third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability 8.1 The Owner strives to provide accurate and helpful feedback but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the reports. 8.2 The Owner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of the Service.

9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions 9.1 The Owner reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. 9.2 Users are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms and Conditions for any changes.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction 10.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 10.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
